Trade NVQ’s
We offer a suite of standalone qualifications for technical Print Industry roles. Qualifications are ideal for existing employees to develop new skills, assess and accredited in a work based context.
Print Administration & Planning (Level 2 & 3)
Aimed at those who carry out administration work in a print working environment in a wide range of roles that may involve decision making, quality checks, and making contributions to improvements in working practices and procedures.
Design & Pre-Press (Level 2 & 3)
Ideal for people who work within a commercial production environment covering Digital Artwork, Digital Pre- Press or Digital Print Production. Employees should have who have the responsibility for managing equipment, monitoring and controlling the quality.
Machine Printing (Level 2 & 3) & Print Finishing (Level 2 & 3)
These two individual qualifications are designed for Machine Operatives (minders) on single and multi unit production printing presses. Qualifications can be awarded to occupational roles that include: Lithography (Sheet-fed) Printing, Lithography (Web-fed) Printing, Flexography Printing, Gravure Printing and Screen Printing and this will be reflected on the Qualification Certificate.
Carton Manufacturing (Level 3)
Aimed at those who undertake activities in the carton manufacturing working environment in a wide range of roles that may involve decision making, quality checks, supervising and supporting others.
Qualification Levels
We offer Print Industry qualifications across two levels. Where relevant, progression from each level can be delivered. The duration for each qualification varies between 3 months to 18 months depending on the level.
- Level 2: an intermediate qualification
- Level 3: an advanced level qualification
