BPIF Training Employer Forum: Have Your Say
BPIF Training are launching a new Employer Forum to give businesses across the print and packaging sector a dedicated space to tell us what they need from apprenticeship training.
The forum will focus on open discussion, honest feedback, and practical insight from employers who work with apprentices every day.
This is an employer-led forum. It is a chance for you to shape how BPIF Training supports the sector, influence future training programmes, and help ensure apprentices develop the skills your business needs.
Why the forum matters
The print and packaging industry continues to evolve, driven by new technologies, changing customer expectations and ongoing skills shortages. To support this, we want to hear directly from employers about what is needed now — and what will be needed next.
The forum will help us understand:
-
The key skills and behaviours employers value most.
-
Gaps you see in new starters and apprentices entering the sector.
-
How well our curriculum reflects day-to-day production demands.
-
Your experience of our communication, onboarding and ongoing support.
-
What’s working well, and what isn’t, in our apprenticeship delivery.
-
What additional training, workshops or resources would benefit your teams.
Your insight will help us ensure training remains relevant, practical, and aligned to real workplace needs across print and packaging.
