Welcome to BPIF Training’s monthly update, containing exciting news and upcoming events!

This edition focuses on the wellbeing and support of our apprentices, our new Apprenticeship Champion Network and how your company can benefit by being a Champion, as well as our 2025 workshops. If you’re considering training opportunities in 2025, whether it’s welcoming new apprentices or enhancing skills through our workshops, we’re here to help.

Wellbeing and Support Drop In Sessions

April 2025 – March 2026

Balancing work, training, and personal life can be challenging, and many apprentices experience pressures that affect their well-being, motivation, and ability to stay on the programme. These drop-in sessions provide a supportive space for apprentices to explore common challenges, learn practical strategies, and access additional resources to help manage stress, workplace pressures, and personal difficulties.

Join our Apprenticeship Champion Network

The ACN is a group of employers and partners who actively support and promote apprenticeships within the printing industry. It’s about sharing knowledge, backing new talent, and helping more businesses see the value in taking on apprentices.

Members come from across the sector and work with BPIF Training to raise awareness, improve access to training, and build a strong pipeline of future professionals.

By joining the ACN, your business can:

  • Take part in school or careers engagement.
  • Collaborate with us on new ideas or improvements to training.

There’s no formal commitment or cost to join – it’s about being part of something positive.

Free Workshops for BPIF Training Apprentices

BPIF Training is excited to open up a series of free workshops exclusively for our apprentices. These enrichment sessions are designed to offer additional learning opportunities outside of the standard apprenticeship curriculum, providing valuable skills and insights that will support professional growth. Whether you are looking to improve your understanding of lean manufacturing, develop training skills, or learn the basics of print, these workshops are tailored to enhance your skill set.

Typically priced at £149 for BPIF members and £249 for non-members, these workshops are now being offered free of charge to all current BPIF Training apprentices—an excellent opportunity for those who qualify. Here are some of our upcoming events!

INTRO TO PRINT 29 April, 10AM -3PM
