National Apprenticeship Week 2024!
National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is just around the corner, and we at BPIF Training are eagerly gearing up to celebrate! From Monday 5th, to Friday 9th February, we’ll be joining the nationwide conversation about the incredible value that apprenticeships bring to individuals, employers, and the economy as a whole.
Let’s take a closer look at how BPIF Training plans to engage in NAW 2024:
Monday, February 5th: Apprenticeships for All
Apprenticeships are for everyone, regardless of age, sector, level, or background. They provide the skills employers need and pave the way for successful careers. To kick off the week, we’ll be launching our new “Fire it Up” brochure. We’ll also be sharing a blog post highlighting the importance of apprenticeships and how BPIF Training, Employers and the industry as a whole supports the growth of apprenticeships. Don’t miss our photo and video contest for the ‘best apprenticeship in action’ shot, with exciting incentives for participation. Results will be announced on Friday!
Tuesday, February 6th: Employer Tuesday
On this day, we’ll be shining a spotlight on our employers and the apprenticeships they offer. We’ll dispel myths, promote Levy transfers, and share insights on how to advertise and recruit apprentices effectively. If you have any content you would like us to share, make sure to let us know.
Wednesday, February 7th: Apprentice Wednesday
This day is all about celebrating our incredible apprentices! We’ll feature case studies, highlight our “Apprentice of the Year” nominations, and sharing apprentice feedback results and surveys. We encourage our apprentices to share their journeys on social media showcasing their amazing achievements.
Thursday, February 8th: Feedback Thursday
On Feedback Thursday, we’ll encourage open discussions about skills gaps and how we can collectively address them within our industry. Join us on LinkedIn for polls that shed light on industry-specific skills needs and let us know what you’d like to see from us in terms of addressing these challenges. We’re eager to engage in meaningful conversations on social media to find solutions to the pressing skills concerns facing our industry. Together, we can bridge the gaps and pave the way for a brighter future.
