BPIF TRAINING WALES / HYFFORDDIANT BPIF CYMRU
With the aim to assist the Welsh print sector to improve the skills of the workforce to develop learning, profitability and sustainability BPIF Training can offer the full range of print apprenticeships available in Wales
Through our sub-contract with ACT Training Group we can offer twelve different printing pathways ranging in specification from print finishing to digital print production and over 120 different NVQ units covering the huge variety of printing techniques in lithography/flexography/gravure and screen.
The three basic elements of a Welsh apprenticeship are:-
- A print specific NVQ at either level 2 or 3
- A Technical Certificate comprising three separate exams
- and Essential Skills Wales in Communication and Application of number
As well as these components apprentices will also study:-
- Education for Sustainability and Global Citizenship
- British Values
- and Employees Rights and Responsibilities

Trwy ein his-gontract gyda Grwp Hyfforddi ACT rydym yn cynnig ystod lawn o brentisiaethau argraffu. Mae yna ddeuddeg o wahanol lwybrau argraffu yn amrywio o gynhyrchu argraffu i gynhyrchu print digidol a thros 120 o unedau CGC gwahanol sy’n cwmpasu’r amrywiaeth enfawr o dechnegau argraffu mewn lithograffeg / fflecsograffeg/ grafur a sgrin.

- Tystysgrif Dechnegol sy’n cynnwys tair arholiad ar wahân
- a Sgiliau Hanfodol Cymru mewn Cyfathrebu a Chymhwyso Rhif

Prentis-Iaith resources
There are a range of courses available for apprentices who currently have little or no Welsh language skills. They enable apprentices to complete part of their qualification in Welsh. The general course highlights the importance of the Welsh language as a workplace skill. The course has also been adapted for four specific sectors: healthcare, childcare, agriculture and construction.
